Dallas, TX - November 29, 2005 - ReportMill Software, Inc. today announced the addition of JDBC database reporting to ReportMill.

ReportMill already provides best-of-breed embedded Java reporting, however, now ReportMill can directly fetch results from any database that supports JDBC. Accessible via the new "Connect to Database" menu item and prominent tool-bar button, ReportMill's comprehensive JDBC panel allows for connection info configuration, interactive query building by selecting tables and attributes in a schema tree, and an interactive view of query results.

Also available with this new release is a new test datasource for generating reports from Google searches, which shows the power of ReportMill's extensible datasource architecture. Additionally, ReportMill's standard XML datasources are now more visible to users.
